Utility

Installations of 50 MW and above

The Netzium Utility Pipeline will contain infrastructure scale energy projects that harness renewable energy sources to generate electricity at scale, contribute to the grid's stability and reliability.

These are typically very large scale projects that sell their energy directly to the national grid. They take a long time to get off the ground but they are designed to add base level power to the national infrastructure.

The price of energy sold into the grid is typically lower than when energy is sold to a residential customer, but the scale means that revenue is much more substantial.

The utility pipeline will typically have a smaller number of very large scale projects within it and the rate of return will be lower. However, the energy generated will potentially much larger and therefore give a good steady stream of tokens as a reward.
